Oral and maxillofacial surgery is a unique specialty because it combines aspects of both medicine and dentistry. Oral and Maxillofacial surgeons graduate from an accredited dental school and then complete hospital based training in their specialty and related areas, including: anesthesiology, plastic surgery, neurosurgery, general surgery, internal medicine, emergency and trauma care.

Each doctor in our practice is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and participates in research, continuing education and teaching.
